TANGENTO'S PSYCH MUSIC: Punkcore: D.R.I.
PUNK/HARDCORE
(D.I.)

DxIx

Sprouting like Mutant Palm Tree from the asses of The ADOLESCENTS, (& vice-versa)
D.I. was/ is one of the True Phenoms of the Orange County/ So Cal Punk Scene.
Their music was sure to scorch the Earth, and always had that extra musical edge over the more basic, typical shit.
Vocalist Casey Royer is a straight-up lunatic, fun to watch while tearing up the stage and spouting wisecracks.
Seeing this band in some sweaty, beer-soaked Hollywood shithole was always a beyond worthy endeavor.
I've heard things...
It seems that D.I. are still somewhat active, having re-released
the 1994 'reunion' CD State of Shock, with 4 extra tracks.
I am hunting this bad boy down as we speak.
