These pages are devoted to all of the strange things, places and people in the world and on the web.
The images themselves are your portals into the bizzare, the unusual and the psychotic.

This, believe it or not, is a plant.
A Coryanthes Orchid, to be exact.
This plant will take you to a REALLY cool site called
The Strange

...or at least it used to.
That site has vanished, so the Orchid is now linked to
StrangeMag.Com

This is what is left of the Bodie Bank.
Bodie is a ghost town in California.
This vault will take you to an outstanding website
devoted to ghost towns across America, state by state.

This has two significances:
a___ It is an album cover for Wall of Voodoo's
rare 12" version of Mexican Radio
(There's Nothing On This Side)
b___ It is a picture taken at
Grandma Prisbrey's Bottle Village
A most unusual place, indeed.
Click it and go see what I mean. Be sure to read the "Timeline".
That poor woman was surrounded by so much death!

Speaking of death, that old site is dead & archived.
Here's the live one:

This is one of the all-time strange places.
The Winchester Mystery House
...also in California.
It is a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime.
Click the "Stairs To Nowhere" to see & learn more.

Here is a frightening little sector of
The Urban Legends Reference Page
(now known as the Snopes.com 'Horrors' section)

What could give you a weirder feeling than an Old, Abandoned Prison?
This is just one of several
Abandoned Places.
Killer, Awesome site. You could spend hours at this one.

Ironically, this site itself has joined the ranks of the abandoned,
so we now must link to the archived version.

Speaking of things abandoned,
there is nothing in this world cooler to yours truly than an abandoned highway.
These are Lost Highways

BROCKTOON

This is a road which leads to an
Abandoned Missile Silo
It (used to) link to one of the coolest sites I've found.
It (was) a full photographic tour,
(with an excellent method of navigation)
mostly underground, of the inside of the silo.

Here (was) the creator's main site, with plenty more prime weirdness:

Kevin Kelm: Dark Prince of HTML

UPDATE 05-2020: Kevin Kelm has replaced his web domain with black oblivion.
Furthermore, he has prevented archiving robots from allowing us to see what once was.
This is (or was) apparently a truly depraved and evil Human. (but I do have an angle)

Here are a few additional 'abandoned missile silo' flavors:

~ Ghosts of North Dakota
(the silo road photo seen above is from this site)

~ Subciety
~ Undercity.org
~ WebUrbanist
~ MissileBases.com

Here you can find out everything imaginable about ghosts & hauntings in America.
Ghosts Of The Prairie (archived version)

NOTE: PrairieGhosts.com now redirects to this equally ghostly domain:

Here is another site about old highways and such. Top Notch.
Kurumi's Humble House of Roadsdom

I need your help with this one.
This is the FUNNIEST MAN ALIVE.
He is Peter Gaulke
I have searched relentlessly for a website or any info on him, to no avail.
He has done stand-up, and a short-lived,
absolutely bizzare and hilarious sub-series on Comedy Central called
'Strange Wilderness'
He is not only funny, he is a very, very STRANGE MAN.

2007 & 2012 UPDATES:
Well... 5 years later. Thanks for nothing. That's OK, I found something myself.

and, uhuh, here we go. yes...
